Funds Raised at Annual Event to Benefit Maritime High School, Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon

Ian Mantha of Transmarine Navigation Corporation, a leading U.S. tramp agency with offices in a dozen port cities along the Gulf Coast, West Coast, and Hawaii, recently participated in the 2024 Towboat Golf Classic.

Funds raised at the annual event, which took place September 13 at the Golf Club at Newcastle just outside of Seattle, Washington, will go to support Maritime High School and the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon.

“I’m thrilled to have taken part of this annual networking and fundraising event,” said Ian Mantha, Transmarine Director of Operations. “It’s wonderful to connect with other maritime professionals working in the region, and to raise money for these two important beneficiary organizations to help create a pipeline for our future maritime workforce.”

Northwest Maritime produces the Towboat Golf Classic, with partners Foss Maritime, Crowley, and Sause Bros.
