Transmarine recently bid farewell to a cornerstone of our company’s history.
After an illustrious career spanning 38 years, Mark Hanson has retired. Originally set for last June, Mark graciously postponed his retirement to help guide our Portland office through a period of transition, and now we celebrate his well-earned departure.
Mark’s journey with Transmarine began in Seattle, where he laid the groundwork for our Pacific Northwest operations before moving to Portland. There, he not only expanded our footprint but also established our presence in the Grain Business, making Portland one of our most successful offices.
Throughout his entire tenure, Mark has exemplified dedication and expertise, becoming a respected figure in our industry. His commitment to excellence and unwavering work ethic have set a standard that few can match.
