Transmarine Continues to Support Agriculture Education
Transmarine Navigation Corporation–a leading U.S. tramp ship agency with offices in a dozen port cities along the Gulf Coast, West Coast, and Hawaii—recently signed on to sponsor the 24th Annual California Fertilizer Foundation (CFF) Golf Tournament.
Funds raised from event, taking place on June 10 at Brookside Golf & Country Club in Stockton, CA, will provide resources and outreach programs for California schools to encourage youth and educators to better understand agriculture.
“We’re honored to sponsor this year’s tournament,” said Leslie Clements, Transmarine Managing Director. “Agricultural education is key to our youth’s understanding of the natural world, and we’ll continue to support CFF’s efforts to provide much-needed resources and programming.”
Established in 1999 and headquartered in Sacramento, the California Fertilizer Foundation’s mission is to enhance awareness and understanding of plant nutrients and agriculture in California.
