Leading U.S. Tramp Shipping Agency Longest Active U.S. Member of International Maritime Shipping Organization
Transmarine Navigation Corporation – a leading U.S. tramp ship agency with offices in a dozen port cities along the Gulf Coast, West Coast, and Hawaii – recently celebrated 75 years of membership with the Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO).
Transmarine joined BIMCO in 1949 and is the longest active U.S. member of the esteemed international shipping organization.
“We’re proud to share such a rich history with BIMCO,” said Leslie Clements, Transmarine’s Managing Director. “Our membership continues to provide us with the latest on shipping market analysis, valuable insight on evolving regulatory and contractual issues, and general support that help us serve our clients better.”
To help commemorate 75 years of membership, BIMCO will raise Transmarine’s profile in its official newsletter and varied social media channels alongside other shipping outfits celebrating landmark membership anniversaries.
